i am always nervous right before youth. i do youth twice a week every week except when i do it 3 times a week. i had the calender planed till the school year ends before we had Evan started the year. i have no less than 2 weeks to get ready for the events and there are very few surprises. i spend my weeks doing lots of connecting with teens and counseling. i have leadership in place who could run this thing with out me. i have programs that are simple, and clear. i have teens that are becoming committed to the group and we are starting to have a presence in this town. people are happy with what we are accomplishing and teens are becoming connected with ministries that showcase there gifting. i have budget. i have energy, and am building credibility. i have a plan for the future and it looks good.
