taken from a book about E Stanley Jones' friendship with Gandhi during India's struggle under British imperial rule.

Jones asks Gandhi -

"Can you tell me what you think we Christians ought to do to make Christianity more naturalized in India, not a foreign thing...but something which contributes its power to India's uplift and redemption."

Before I give Gandhi's answer - you need to see that Jones' question is your question. Just take out "India" and put in the name of a friend, relative, workplace, or neighbor.

Gandhi replies:

"Live more like Jesus, practice your faith without toning it down, and emphasize the love that is central to Christianity."

no no no - Ghandi had no idea what he was talking about. Christianity's role is to be a political lobby, pressing for our agenda to be forced upon all those who live within these artificial political borders. God Bless (North) America! Put the flag on the cross - Jesus isn't using it anymore.
