movie magic

There is a time in any movie when you decide to yourself that you will either stay or leave. The problem is that on occasion you will stay through a movie you should really walkout on simply because it should have been so much better than it is. I have found myself sitting in a flick when it occurs to me that it is almost over and there is now no hope of it getting any better as well as it is now too late to go out and get my money back. I am often disappointed by big blockbuster movies. Perhaps this is just a reflection on my personal tastes. Do you remember when Independence day came out? Everyone loved it! Not me, I thought it was dumb. Now I get it that back then Will Smith was da bomb but I still thought the movie sucked. Everyone thought that envy was going to be such a good movie, but Jack Black actually published an apology for the movie, it was that bad! I sat all the way through soul plane…… we will never talk about that again! I saw “Stealth.” So bad, but it promised so much! It was kinda like a Chevy that way. I have seen all 4 Universal Solders, not a misprint, I said 4! There are only a very few people out there that know there are 4! What does that tell you? Black night was so so so so so so so bad! My wife still wants me to repay her an evening of her life. It was that awful. I saw a movie called Anacondas, it was hard to watch through the tears. There was not one redeeming part in the entire show. It was like watching someone buy a caviler. You just kinda cant look away. You know it will be bad no matter what but it is just mesmerizing! (sorry Rachael) ( yea, she aint gonna read this)(kinda like Chris)(boo Chevy)
I want to know why people see way bad movies and miss the really good ones? Why hasn’t anyone seen the cinematic gem, “barbershop?” It is so so so so good! Stay away from the sequel though. Why don’t war buffs see “The Thin Red Line?” It was far better than Saving Ryan’s Privates! Yet it was still missed. I even liked the tom Hankes movie bit it was not the best at the time and it received the most hype. Ahh well.
We should all go see a movie.
