HA!

I need to update you all on the car situation around my place. As you all know I drive that tough guy blue truck. (the one in the pic below) however, the day after the big beach ball pic was taken, the master and slave cylinder went out on the clutch on the truck. (she don’t go no more) until I get that fixed, I was in need of wheels. As some of you know I also buy and sell cars often so I had half ownership in a minivan that was not being used at the time. So I pulled the insurance off the truck, the plates off the mustang (put that car away for winter) and transferred them both to the van. Now I am cruzzing in the minivan till I get enough scratch to fix the truck.
At my house I currently house a dodge Durango (Mandy’s), a ford mustang (mine) a ford aerostar (mine and dads) a Chevy s10 hotrod (brother-in-laws). At my fathers house there is a ford mustang hotrod (his) a Toyota previa (moms) and a Ford f150 (mine) AND IT HAPPENED AGAIN LAST NIGHT! I got a phone call at about 7 pm from a lady who had a son in my youth group 2 years ago (then he got older) they have a 1990 Honda accord that is very very nice. It had just been replaced by a new car because of the Honda no longer running. The woman who owned it (hint hint) thought the motor must be blown because it no longer would start. She then thought the transmit ion must be blown because it wouldn’t go out of park. When I asked her what happens when she turns the kea, she said “nothing at all” no noise no bad crunching and smoke, just silence. Hmmm. Me thinks the motor is still good. She then said she just wanted the car gone. In my mind this is a $2500 dollar car minimum. When I asked what she wanted for the car she replied “$100” I bought the car sight un-seen if nothing else the car is worth $200 at the crushers. So I hoped in the Durango with dad and we went to see our new car. The car was in better than hoped condition. I opened the hood and found the battery totally covered with corrosion (not good) so I pulled the battery and installed another battery that had no charge but was in good condition. We then put jumper cables on it and (I will now take this time to say a very fond hello the Darrell Darrell Rachel and possibly Chris and Scott) THE DARN THING STARTED RIGHT UP! IT STARTED AND RAN GREAT. The alternator is dead so we had to charge the battery and drive till it died (the car stalled) and charge it again! we got it to dads garage and started doing an in-depth investigation. After a new alternator, tune-up and a battery, she is good to go. It is for sail for around $2500 - $3000. not bad for $100 car!
Pics will follow some day
