go figure!

So, here it is! The news you have been (so there Darrell and Rachael) waiting for is finally here! Last Saturday, I bought another truck! I know I know, that is so out of character for me but you must believe me. I did it! I got another one!! With Duncan’s untimely departure, I now introduce you to Jughead!! Jughead is a 1995 ford f150 with an inline 6 cylinder and a t5 5speed tranny! He has no air-conditioning but the windows do role down so I am just fine! It has no tape deck or cd player but it does have an am/fm radio and no floor mats! Future plans call for a short through shifter, a k&n cold air intake and filter, a cd player, floor mats, some minor body work, new tires and a loud exhaust!! I am so predictable!
Now the odd part! The truck is a color that I did not think anyone liked! I expected it to be mocked and savagely ridiculed! Everyone loves it!!!! Even a guy from a hotrod shop I deal with came running out and commented on how much he loved it! Cool! Whatevv.
It is kinda a blueie purpleie more purple than blue blue but not quite, purple truck. And people like the color! Heh
Cool

sssssssh!

i have bin pondering the reasining behind cultural taboos and have cut one of my most deeply ingrained taboo from my personal repetwar to shair with you! I dont want to talk on the bus cuz I think it is rude! I dont even want to make a sound! not even music! I know this makes no sence but it is a deeply ingrand habit of mine! ssssssh! no talking! Now, i am not a quiet person normaly but this one time I dont make a sound! so today i tried something new! I said hi to someone and then listend to a set of headphones for the whole trip! about 45 minuts! 2 things happened! #1 i was totally uneassy the whole trip (i think this might be because i like to know what is going on around me and the music ended that) #2 the trip seamed to go much faster! and then i played a trick on Jeff Ulriksen! but you will have to ask him about that!

its bin a long time!

For all you faithful blog checkers, I am sorry for the long wait between blogs! I have bin busy! But I am here now. So let me tell you some of the things that have happened since the last time we talked.
First thing to change is that I sold my Honda accord. It went to a good home with a girl at my youth group. It was over due and even though I liked the car well enough, I was glad to see someone else totally loves it. I love happy endings!
Second.
In the next week my truck died a spectacular death! The truck gasped its last on a hill just off 4th st. I had my headphones on (because of an earlier fire that killed the CD player in the truck)(the end was near and I knew it!) when I heard a loud bang and that was it! No more truck! I just striped what I wanted out of it and called a guy to come get it. So he did! In the space of a week, I went from 4 cars to 2 cars! Wikkidcool!
Third
I’m a new uncle again! I now have 5 nieces and 2 nephews both boys hail from the Scott side and one of the nieces is the new one pics to follow some day!
Forth
I now lead the c&c in my church! It looks like it will be fun! I went the first time yesterday and it was a blast! Cool!
So that will about do it for this chapter. I will leave you with pics of both departed autos so we may all morn together………………………sigh!

exactly how do computers and gmc connect?

I just hate how computers have enhanced our lives! At a recent computer expo (COMDEX), Bill Gates reportedly compared the computer industry with the auto industry and stated, "If GM had kept up with technology like the computer industry has, we would all be driving $25.00 cars that got 1,000 miles to the gallon." In response to Bill's comments, General Motors issued a press release stating: If GM had developed technology like Microsoft, we would all be driving cars with the following characteristics (and I just love this part): 1. For no reason whatsoever, your car would crash twice a day. 2. Every time they repainted the lines in the road, you would have to buy a new car. 3. Occasionally your car would die on the freeway for no reason. You would have to pull to the side of the road, close all of the windows, shut off the car, restart it, and reopen the windows before you could continue. For some reason you would simply accept this. 4. Occasionally, executing a maneuver such as a left turn would cause your car to shut down and refuse to restart, in which case you would have to reinstall the engine. 5. Macintosh would make a car that was powered by the sun, was reliable, five times as fast and twice as easy to drive - but would run on only five percent of the roads. 6. The oil, water temperature, and alternator warning lights would all be replaced by a single "This Car Has Performed an Illegal Operation" warning light. 7. The airbag system would ask "Are you sure?" before deploying. 8. Occasionally, for no reason whatsoever, your car would lock you out and refuse to let you in until you simultaneously lifted the door handle, turned the key and grabbed hold of the radio antenna. 9. Every time a new car was introduced car buyers would have to learn how to drive all over again because! None of the controls would operate in the same manner as the old car. 10. You'd have to press the "Start" button to turn the engine off.

To me this sounds like GM. Thought it was a good idea and hired MR. Gates! In a GM. To turn off the oil change light, you mute shut off the engine, have the key in the on position, slide the transmission into natural, and pump the gas pedal to the floor 3 times! In a Ford, push a button!
