Here is what happened. I looked on the bargain finder hoping to find an add that reads, “one passenger side door off a 1995 ford f150, purple with the “tough guy” stripe package, door is killer blue!”. That wasn’t what I saw instead I saw an add for STEVES FORD TRUCKS. So I called and talked to a very nice Steve, and said “ I am looking for a door for a 1995 ford f150. he said passengers or drivers. I said passengers. He said what kind of mirror do you have? I said folding and black. He said your in luck, I have every color. What color do you have? I said purple. He said “that’s the one color I don’t have!”
I now have a truck with a black door. (I will be painting soon)

Got to work today at noon and the “accepting mad and ornery people at the parts counter” was glowing brightly. True to the advertisement we had people there who made no sense! My favorout was the old man who was totally unwilling to believe the advertised price on tires. He was actually yelling at me because they needed to be MORE expensive. I finally got him to just order the tires and get them installed. After that was done, he left the store checking over his shoulder to see if we would stop him from leaving. THEN… I went outside to my truck for dinner at 4pm and it was broken into and I had been robbed. List of things taken, cd,s mp4 player, new computer mouse, tools, and ALL MY MINNI CHOCLATE BARS! Also my tie down straps. They trashed my door in the poses and now I need to replace the entire door! Any one want to guess how hard it is to find a purple door? (tough guy blue) where am I going to find that? Its almost funny. Heh. Sigh. Dang.

congrats Char and Rob

Ever since Char and Rob got pregnant, they have been making life changes that are conducive to a very young family. They bought a house with an extra bedroom, they put in an alarm in the house so that they can be sure the new baby is safe. They have rented out the basement to help with the costs of life, they even decided to get another vehicle! They are now are driving around in an honest to goodness, no kidding, not even lying one little bit, MINIVAN! Its red and silver, it has a tape deck and even a baby bottle tray under the dash! These are two people who have embraced the “soon to be a baby here” thing with all there heart! I think it is kinda fun!

Many of you are probably wondering where I've been lately. Well, as a matter of fact, so am I. I have no idea. I just woke up one day in a bathtub full of ice with a note pinned to my chest that said something about my kidneys being gone, or there being no kidney pie left, or something. Maybe it was about a kidney shaped swimming pool. Anyway, I tossed the note, it didn't seem important, though you have to wonder about people who would pin a note to someone's chest. What, sticky tack or tape isn't good enough? Sheesh.Oh wait, that might have been a dream, now that I think about it. Yup, definitely a dream. Although I might be going to the doctor, just to be sure...
Anyhoo, We have achieved a new level of success. Previously, we had only managed to attain to blue mold on the corn we forgot in the fridge, but on this last round, we achieved red! It was so pretty, mixed in with the white and blue mold, and contrasted by the stark yellow of the corn (well, what you could see of it around the mold, anyway). It brought a tear to my eye. What new heights will we achieve next time
